Marshfield Male Voice Choir
Based in the village of Marshfield, South Gloucestershire, MMVC sing a broad range of styles including traditional male voice, choral, folk, musicals and more contemporary numbers. Coached and directed this year by their new Musical Director Gilly Wells, a Marshfield resident and excellent Soprano and working together with their amazing accompanist, Sarah Bartlett.
Francesca Simpkins
Musician in residence and Music Coordinator at the Royal United Hospitals Bath, Frankie Simpkins, will be bringing her beautiful vocals, performing holiday classics with a twist. Frankie is incredibly passionate about the benefits of singing for wellbeing at the RUH and in the community, and makes an incredible difference to patients, families and NHS staff.
Take Five Wind Quintet
“I originally set up Take Five during the lockdown period as it was a way to meet and play music within the Rules at the time. We are now a, not quite traditional, wind quintet as we have an alto sax and euphonium instead of French horn and bassoon, so we create a totally unique sound.
We play everything from classical to film music, jazz and pop and are very honoured to join you at this brilliant event.” – Alison Kent, Take Five
Oldfield Voices
Oldfield Voices provides pupils of all abilities from all year groups with the opportunity to sing! Directed by Victoria Robinson, we enjoy singing a broad repertoire of new and old, sacred and secular, and sometimes quite silly songs, accompanied by Alex Williams on the piano. We perform concerts regularly in school throughout the year and also go out into the community to share the joy of music whenever we can.
Supporting RUHX
