Launching their exciting 2024 events programme, RUHX announce that their fundraising adventure treks are back in 2024.
This is a once in a lifetime trip, an opportunity to join us on a 10-day adventure through the breath-taking foothills of the Indian Himalayas.
Beginning in Dharamsala, the spiritual home of the Dalai Lama, we will journey through rhododendron forests, Hindu settlements, and Buddhist Monasteries. The trek will end with a visit to see one of the world’s greatest monuments, the Taj Mahal!
Key information about the trek includes:
- 5 days of trekking
- 50km approx. total distance
- 6–9 hours trekking per day
- Self-funding and minimum sponsorship options available
- Free information evening on the 1st of November at the RUH Bath.

“The India trek I participated in was out of this world. Where do I start. I met loads of amazing people with the same aim, to raise money for the RUH and to challenge themselves. The route of the trek was outrageously stunning. One minute crossing over valleys, the next walking through forests, then steep climbs along the mountains edge. We were even treated to a heavy blanket of snow when we woke up one morning. The food whilst on the trek, cooked fresh by the porters, was incredible to. Which was important for me! If you like an adventure, enjoy the outdoors, are up for multiple laughs and you’re just slightly considering taking part – all I would say is do it! I promise you that you won’t regret it.”
