Christmas is all about the people we love: family, friendship, comfort and being cared for. But every year, patients and families from across Bath, Wiltshire and Somerset find themselves at the RUH when they are expecting to be at home.
While many of us are celebrating, our hospital never stops. Last year:
• 427 patients were in hospital on Christmas Day
• 366 babies were born during December
• 9,139 patients were admitted during December
• 934 staff worked on Christmas Day
Your fundraising can help support life-changing projects across the RUH Bath, including:
• State-of-the-art medical equipment
• Facilities that help loved ones stay close to patients
• Transforming hospital wards and spaces
• Funding life-changing research and innovative technologies
• Mental health first aid training to staff
• Arts programmes for children and older people on our wards
With your help, we can make our care extra extraordinary for patients at Christmas and throughout the year.
