Brand new for 2024, our Glow Run is for all ages and abilities.
Come dressed in your favourite fancy dress or neon accessories, bring a torch, and help us light up Odd Down Sports Ground for an evening of after-school activities.
What you can expect on the night
The Glow Run is a 2 lap course around the cycle track, with lights to guide you along the way. Whether you’re a regular Junior Parkrunner or looking for ways to get the family more active, the Glow Run is the perfect way to kick off the half term festivities.
With a group warm up, face painting, refreshments and more to take part in on the night, we promise to put the ‘fun’ into fundraising!
The Glow Run is kindly sponsored by Freestyle Designs.

What should I bring?
This is an outdoor event so please make sure you dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear. Fancy dress and neon outfits are encouraged!
Essential items:
• Warm jumper
• Waterproof coat
• Water bottle
• Torch (head torch or hand held)
• Appropriate footwear
Glow sticks, light up accessories and neon face paint will be available to purchase on the night.
Is it a race?
The Glow Run is a family-friendly sponsored fun run event and is not timed. Everyone who takes part will receive a medal!
Is the route accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs?
The Glow Run takes place on the tarmacked cycle track at Odd Down Sports Ground, making it a smooth and even path suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs and buggies. There are accessible toilets located inside the sports centre.
Please get in touch if you have any questions about additional needs.
Can I ride my bike or scooter?
Bikes and scooters are unfortunately not allowed. This is to keep everyone safe as the event takes place after dark with reduced visibility.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome on the day to spectate with cheerers but sadly cannot participate in the run on the cycle track due to site rules.
Travelling to the event
There is limited free parking at the event, including 8 disabled parking spaces. Please avoid parking in the residential areas so as not to disturb local residents and do not block residents’ driveways.
We encourage everyone to use public transport where possible. There is a bus stop located on Bloomfield Road where the number 4 bus from Weston/Bath City Centre or Odd Down Park & Ride stops regularly. We recommend using the First Bus App for up to date bus timetables.
