Main duties of the job
As our first Head of Development, you’ll have many opportunities to build and lead your team, make your mark, and have the freedom to try new ideas. You will also be supported by a culture that encourages learning and being positively disruptive.

You’ll build relationships with donors who give between £25,000 and £1m+. You’ll identify ways for them to engage with their hospital, ensuring that the partnership meets a shared vision of success and prompts future financial support.

You will need extensive experience in fundraising, especially Philanthropy. We will help support you in growing your career in the charity sector. At the same time, you will lead an ambitious and fun team that goes further to give every patient the extra extraordinary care they deserve.

You’ll build relationships with Trusts and Foundations who give between £5,000 and £250,000+. You’ll write compelling grant applications and identify ways for them to engage with their hospital, ensuring that the partnership meets a shared vision of success and prompts future financial support.

You will need experience in fundraising and especially Trusts and Foundations. We will help support you to growing your career in the charity sector whilst being part of an ambitious and fun team going further to give every patient the extra extraordinary care they deserve.
